The room does the work

No function room. No hotel ballroom.

The problem with most holiday party venues is that they only become a party once you have spent four thousand dollars making them look like one. Dark wood, low light, tin ceilings and a long bar do that on their own. People walk in and the night has already started.

We are three blocks from Embarcadero BART and four from Montgomery, which matters more in December than it does the rest of the year. Nobody is calling a car in the rain, and everyone can get home.

And because we are closed to the public at weekends, a Saturday buyout gets you the entire building with nobody else in it.

Timing

When December gets booked

June to August
Planners start looking. The venues with real character get shortlisted now.
August to September
Heaviest booking window. Most December Thursdays and Fridays are claimed in this stretch.
Early October
Prime December dates are effectively gone across downtown.
November onward
Midweek dates, weekend buyouts and January parties. Still very doable, and often better value.

Why planners come back

Your party, not our package

Nearly every venue in this city will hand you three tiers and a list of rules. We would rather hear what the night is supposed to feel like and build it from there. It is the thing clients mention first when they book us again the following December.

The menu is a starting point

Off-menu dishes, a family-style build, passed bites instead of a buffet, a whole course dropped because half your team is flying in late. If the kitchen can make it, we will look at it.

Bring what you need

Your own cake, your own AV vendor, branded signage, a photographer, a DJ, a step-and-repeat in the corner. We are not going to invent a fee for a laptop and an HDMI cable.

Dietary needs are not a surcharge

Vegan, gluten-free, halal, allergies. Send the list, we will handle it, and nobody at the table will be handed a sad plate of steamed vegetables.

Questions

The short answers

How many people can you hold for a holiday party?
Up to 200 standing for a full buyout across three connected rooms. Smaller teams take one room. If your number sits between two of those, tell us and we will work out the layout.
Can we book a Saturday?
Yes. We are closed to the public at weekends, which means a weekend holiday party gets you the entire building with nobody else in it. Weekend events are by arrangement.
Can you handle dietary requirements for a whole company?
Yes, at no extra charge. Send the list when you confirm numbers. Vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy requirements are built into the menu rather than bolted on.
Can we bring decorations, a DJ, or a photographer?
Yes. Your own decor, your own AV, your own entertainment, a Secret Santa table in the corner. We would rather make your idea work than hand you a list of what is not allowed.
What does a holiday party cost?
Minimum spend depends on the date, the space and your headcount. December Fridays cost more than a Tuesday in January. Send your date and rough budget and you will get a straight answer the same day.
How late can we go?
Later than the plan, usually. If the party is still going we are not going to stand there tapping a watch.
